VOLTRON: The Denubian Galaxy

The Sapphire System *
- MIRA - Jungle planet where giant flowers grow that can be made into poison. Lt. Lorn from the Galaxy Alliance stays here with Mirana the Jungle Woman after saving her father.
- CASPIA - home to the once-staunchly pacifist robot scientist Marianne, who moved there from her childhood home of Arus. Also the planet Tildar is from, a young groom getting married on Planet Anthrose in the V3D episode, "Bride of the Monster."
- THETA* - The Planet Lotor attacks in the V3D episode "Descent Into Madness," where Keith crash-lands during battle and Haggar infects him with the magic fever that makes him go feral.
The Aquamarine System*
- NEMON* - A desert planet that was ruled for a time by Tabor, Zarkon's nephew (presumably by marraige to his "human" wife, which is only a theory I have but strongly supported by one episode). Young Bobby escapes and asks for Voltron's help, and his planet is saved.
- GLACIA* – In the V3D episode "Pidge Gets Iced," Pidge leads a team of robot in excavating this planet for super-cool ice to save a planet from destruction… but Lotor and Hagar have planted IGOR there to keep Pidge from his mission, and the other members of the Voltron Force must help save him.
- TROIKA MOONS - Over a billion people inhabit these three moons, totally covered by city, and also home to the theme park VOLTRONLAND. They are known as Troika One, Troika Two, and Troika Three. When Lotor threatens the moons, Allura must decide whether or not to sacrifice the robot lions to Lotor. Featured in the V3D episodes "The Troika Moons" and "Queen Ariella." It is in the latter episode where its clear the Moons are in the Cerulean Quadrant, since that’s where the Fleet of Doom is coming from (see Amalgamus and Zarkon’s conversation).
- RUBICON - A
planet which gets only a passing mention in V3D, not integral to any
story.
The Quartz System*
- Apparently MERLA QUEEN OF DARKNESS has a small empire of her own. I have attributed all of the Quartz System to her. There may be other territories she has as well...*
The Jade System*
- THE NEW PLANET DRULE
- As I later discovered was established in the last part of the three-part
arc of Vehicle Voltron, the New Planet Drule that Dr. Page of the Galaxy
Alliance locates is in "the 4th Quadrant of the Far
Universe." In show terms, Far
Universe = Denubian Galaxy per the Lion Voltron opening credit sequence and
other indications as made in the show and by WEP (including the use of my
own starmap). Since we are told
that the environment "is very similar" to the old Drule, I've
set it up that Merla also is in this area, and it wouldn't make sense to
have them share a quadrant with Zarkon, I decided that the Cerulean Quadrant
would be the most logical location.
